Buying, selling, building, relocating, or investing — the outcome depends on who is advising you. Exceptional client service is the rule here, not the exception, because we are deliberate about who wears our name.

The difference

Anyone can get a license. Not everyone should be advising you.

Most brokerages grow by adding names — every license is a business plan. We grew a different way. John Greene left a large Chicagoland brokerage in 1976 precisely because scale had started to cost clients the quality of service and the local, real-time decisions they deserved. Fifty years on, the company is still family owned, still locally run, and still selective.

Our standards

What it takes to carry the jgR name

Our mission is to change how people experience real estate, one satisfied client at a time. That only works if the people doing the work are held to something.

  1. 01

    We don't hire everyone

Every agent is interviewed by brokerage leadership, not funneled through a recruiting form. Licenses are the starting line, not the qualification.

  2. 02

    Production requirements are real

Our agents carry annual production standards and continuing-education requirements. If someone isn't practicing at that level, they don't stay on the roster.

  3. 03

    Coached, not left alone

In-house education, marketing, relocation, title, and commercial support means your agent shows up with a whole company behind them.

Live & love local

Our agents coach the teams, sit on the boards, and shop the downtowns they sell in. Last year 41 of them sold a home on a street where they live.

Full service, either direction

One company for the whole move.

Selling, you get pricing built from records rather than estimates, plus a marketing plan with dates. Buying, you get condition and comparables before you write an offer. Either way, relocation, title services, new construction, luxury, and commercial sit under the same roof.

Client experience

Exceptional service is the rule, not the exception.

We measure ourselves one satisfied client at a time — first-time buyers, downsizers, builders, investors, and families relocating from out of state.

She walked us through two neighborhoods and talked us out of the first home. That is the whole job, and it is why we've sent four friends her way.

Seller Strategy

The first 14 days decide the price

Across 1,180 jgR listings last year, homes that closed above list had one thing in common: they were priced correctly before the sign went in the ground.

What an inspection report is actually worth

A $9,400 credit request and a $9,400 repair are not the same negotiation. How we decide which one to ask for.

Two homes 400 feet apart in Wheaton can carry a 6% valuation difference. The line is the reason.
